Vale do Alva
El recorrido sigue el río Alva, en una extensión de 800 metros, aguas arriba de la Central Hidroeléctrica Desterro. En este camino se obtiene una perspectiva privilegiada sobre la vegetación de ribera, destacando el entorno de la playa del Dr. Pedro, ya que incluye especies florísticas como el cerezo ( Prunus lusitanica ), el acebo ( Ilex aquifolium ), el espino ( Crataegus). monogyn a), el aliso ( Alnus glutinosa ), los sauces ( Salix atrocinera y S. salvifolia ), la aguileña ( Aquilegia vulgaris ), la campana amarilla ( Narcissus bulbocodium ), la violeta ( Viola riviniana ) y el feto (Picante Blechnum ).
En la orilla es posible observar la fauna característica de los hábitats ribereños como el mirlo de agua ( Cinclus cinclus ), el lagarto de agua ( Lacerta schreiberi ), la culebra de agua ( Natrix maura ) y la culebra. con collar de agua ( N. natrix ). La nutria ( Lutra lutra ) y el topo de agua ( Galemys pyrenaicus ), especies difíciles de observar, pueden detectarse a través de huellas y estiércol
