2nd Day

  • Breakfast.
  • Visit to the Cereja Interpretive Center, here you can see the entire cherry production process.
  • Lunch at the tavern “A Laranjinha”, where you can taste typical dishes of the area.
  • Free afternoon.
  • Dinner at “Tasca 77”, where you can enjoy typical products of the area, such as lamb and kid.

3rd Day

  • Breakfast.
  • Arrival in Belmonte. Town located 21 km from Covilhã.
  • Guided tour, where you will discover the cultural heritage of the town, such as the castle, the walls and the historic center.
  • Lunch at “Pousada do Convento de Belmonte” restaurant, where you can taste typical products such as oil. Visit to the Museu do Azeite.
  • Dinner at “O Brasao” restaurant , where you can taste different typical dishes of the area, such as Cabrino na Telha.

4th Day

  • Breakfast.
  • Full-day guided excursion to The Serra da Estrela.
  • Lunch with typical products of the area, such as Cabrito e Borrego Assados, Queijo da Serra da Estrela or Maça Bravo de Esmolfe.
  • Dinner at “O Brasao” restaurant , where you can try different typical dishes of the area, such as the Farófias.

5th Day

  • Breakfast.
  • Arrival in Manteigas. Town located 26 km from Belmonte.
  • Guided tour of the town, where you will get to know the cultural heritage of the town, such as the Casa das Obras.
  • Lunch at “Berne” restaurant, where you will taste typical dishes of the area, such as Borrego Assado.
  • Free afternoon.
  • Dinner at “Vale do Zêzere” restaurant, where you can enjoy typical dishes of the area, such as Queijo Serra da Estrela.

6th Day

  • Breakfast.
  • Visit to an artisan workshop dedicated to the production of wool fabrics.
  • Lunch at “Berne” restaurant, where you will taste typical dishes of the area.
  • Free afternoon.
  • Dinner at “A Cascata”, based on local products from the area.

7th Day

  • Breakfast.
  • Return to the city of origin.
