We present you a perfect plan, in which you can enjoy nature, hiking trails, culture and gastronomy in a unique experience.

In Ávila you can find some of the relics of religious Gothic art, such as the Castle of Valdecorneja, and non-religious art such as the Wall.

The lands and landscapes that surround Ávila are of great beauty, enjoying the fresh waters of the Tormes river. Some of the hiking trails will allow you to enjoy your surroundings.

Program

1st day

  • Arrival in Navas del Marqués.
  • Accommodation at Los Pedroches Rural House in Navas del Marqués.
  • Guided tour of the Castle-Palace of Magalia, and the Eiffel Lookout Tower.
  • Lunch and dinner at “the Magalia restaurant”.

2nd day

  • Breakfast.
  • Visit to San Bartolomé de Pinares, a municipality located 29 kilometers from Navas del Marqués. Free visit in the morning, where you can visit the Church of San Bartolomé Apóstol, the Hermitage of San Roque, the Hermitage of Santo Cristo, and the Town Hall in the Plaza. Visit to the “Gigantea” toy museum.
  • Lunch at “La Plaza Bar” in San Bartolomé de Pinares.
  • Return to Navas del Marqués.
  • Dinner at “the Montecarlo restaurant”.
  • Accommodation at Los Pedroches Rural House in Navas del Marqués.

3rd day

  • Breakfast.
  • Visit to Cebreros, a municipality located 27 kilometers from Navas del Marqués. Free visit around the town. You will visit the Church of Santiago Apóstol, La Picota, the Dulce Nombre de Jesús Convent and the El Quexigal Palace.
  • Lunch at “The El Castrejón restaurant”, where you can taste the quality wine of Cebreros, fresh goat cheese and kid.
  • In the afternoon, visit the Adolfo Suárez and La Transición museum.
  • Return to Navas del Marqués.
  • Dinner at “El Barco Restaurant”.
  • Accommodation at Los Pedroches Rural House in Navas del Marqués.

4th day

  • Breakfast.
  • Transfer to Navaluenga, a municipality located 58.7 kilometers from Navas del Marqués, where we will stay at the Hotel “El Hotelito”.
  • Free visit around the town, where we can enjoy its high medieval necropolis.
  • Lunch at “La Galería restaurant”, in Navaluenga.
  • In the afternoon, Navaluenga-La Lobera mycological route of 5 kilometers, where you can see a great botanical variety that leads to excellent mycological results.
  • At night visit to the “Garnacho Alto” winery where you will enjoy a wine tasting and dinner.
  • Finally, visit the Navaluenga “Star Viewpoint”.
  • Accommodation at “El Mirador de Alberche I” in Navaluenga.

5th day

  • Breakfast.
  • Visit to Sotillo de la Adrada, a municipality located 49.2 kilometers from Navaluenga, where we will enjoy the Castillo de la Adrada. We will continue to El Arenal, a municipality located 62.5 kilometers from Sotillo de la Adrada, where we will stay.
  • Lunch at “Casa Tato restaurant”.
  • Free afternoon to visit the town where we can enjoy the monuments to the elderly, the hermitage of the virgin of the anguish and the church of our lady of the assumption.
  • Dinner at “Casa Tato restaurant”.
  • Accommodation at La Casa Rural El Herragu in El Arenal.

6th day

  • Breakfast.
  • Visit to Arenas de San Pedro, a municipality located 10.5 kilometers from El Arenal, where in the morning we will take the fishermen’s trail route, suitable for the whole family, well signposted, which is 9 kilometers away. In the afternoon we will take a guided tour of the Aguila caves.
  • Lunch at “The Place of Gonzalo” or “The Marquesito” in Arenas de San Pedro.
  • Return to El Arenal.
  • Dinner at “The restaurant El Arca de Noé”.
  • Accommodation at La Casa Rural El Herragu in El Arenal.

7th day

  • Breakfast.
  • In the morning, visit Guisando, a municipality located 14 kilometers from El Arenal, where we will enjoy the El Risquillo Adventure Park.
  • Lunch at “The Fogón de Gredos in Guisando”.
  • In the afternoon we will visit the “Abejas del Valle” museum and the “Gigantea” toy museum in Poyales del Hoyo, a municipality located 12.3 kilometers from Guisando, and the “Tin Toy Museum” in Candeleda, located 7.2 kilometers from Poyales del Hoyo.
  • Return to El Arenal.
  • Dinner at “Casa Tato” restaurant.
  • Accommodation at La Casa Rural El Herragu in El Arenal.

8th day

  • Breakfast.
  • Transfer to Barco de Ávila, a municipality located 76.5 kilometers from El Arenal, where we will stay. Free visit around the municipality.
  • Lunch at “El Fogón del Barco” restaurant in Barco de Ávila.
  • In the afternoon, a guided tour of the Valdecorneja Castle.
  • Dinner at “The Casa Lucio” restaurant in Barco de Ávila.
  • Acommodation at Alba Rural House in Barco de Ávila.

9th day

  • Breakfast.
  • Visit to Piedrahita, a municipality located 21.4 kilometers from El Barco de Ávila. Free visit around the municipality. Guided tour of the Palace of the Dukes of Alba. Free afternoon.
  • Lunch at “La Cabaña restaurant” or “Psique restaurant” in Piedrahita.
  • Return to the city of origin.
